Friends of Cuba protest for lifting of sanctions

ANC First Deputy Secretary-General Nomvula Mokonyane says Cubans deserve the same rights as any other nation. She was speaking during a protest outside the United States Consulate in Johannesburg. Supporters marked 65 years since the Bay of Pigs Invasion which was a failed attempt to overthrow Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Cuba Solidarity supporters say their campaign will continue until sanctions against the island are lifted.
