Labor government ‘belatedly acknowledge’ we are in the age of drone warfare

Shadow Defence Minister James Paterson reacts to Defence Minister Richard Marles on Thursday announcing a defence spending increase.

“There are some good things in it; I think there is a form of increased defence spending, although exactly how much is not completely clear,” Mr Paterson told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“I think it’s good that they have belatedly acknowledged that we are in the age of missiles and drones, that’s four years after the war in Ukraine and many months after the Iran conflict has broken out.”
