2026 LGE | 29.2 million registered voters
In just six days, over 29 million registered voters will cast their votes in this year’s Local Government Elections on the 4th of November. This year’s elections will see five-hundred-and-forty-six parties contesting, an increase of more than 300% from the 2011 Local Government Elections.
With political parties also ramping up their campaigns ahead of this weekend’s final election rallies, this morning we take a look at how they performed to win over voters and what the post elections future looks like.
