UK, US officials gather at Chequers as Trump, Starmer set to speak on new tech deal #shorts
President Trump and Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a “Tech Prosperity Deal” during Trump’s state visit, opening the door to major U.S. investment in the U.K. Just before President Trump put his thick black marker to paper to add his sizable signature to a US-UK “Tech Prosperity Deal,” he had jokes for Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, one of a handful of cabinet members with POTUS on his state visit.
“If the deal’s no good I’m blaming you, Scott,” Trump, 79, wisecracked.
