* Mourners at the funeral service of two slain cousins at Luckau village outside Groblersdal in Limpopo, have again appealed to the authorities to step up efforts to protect women against violence. Twenty-two-year-old Tshiamo Moramaga and 21-year-old Baleseng Moramaga were shot and killed in Mamelodi East in Pretoria last weekend. 38-year-old Tebogo Mnisi has been charged with two counts of murder. Mnisi has abandoned his bail application and remains in custody.
