Leadership shift underway in US Intelligence following Gabbard’s departure

National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, who served under US President Donald Trump, is stepping down from her position.

Mr Trump said Ms Gabbard is leaving to assist in caring for her husband following a bone cancer diagnosis.

Ms Gabbard shared a copy of her resignation letter to the President, stating: “At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.”
