This past Monday, the world echoed with the power of storytelling on World Literary Day, while also commemorating the 58th anniversary of Can Themba’s passing, an icon whose words continue to resonate. To honour his legacy and ignite new voices, the Dramatic, Artist, and Literary Rights Organizations joined forces with Wits University Press, The Market Theatre, and the Centre for Creative Arts to unveil When Water WANT To. 250 and writers entered the first edition.
