Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has posted an unhinged rant on X in an attempt to shift the blame for the government shutdown to the Republicans.
Schumer took aim at the US President Donald Trump, accusing him of being “vicious and heartless” as SNAP benefits are set not to be distributed on Saturday.
The Senate minority leader tried to assert that Trump is holding people who depend on food stamps hostage over the government closure.
Schumer then ramps up his attacks, calling the president a “f******g liar” for saying there is no money to provide SNAP benefits during the lockdown.
