Mbeki backs SA government’s negotiations with US
Former President Thabo Mbeki says he supports the South African government’s negotiations with the United States.
Washington DC has imposed sweeping tariffs affecting a number of countries.
Mbeki has been in conversation with students at the University of South Africa in Pretoria in a variety of global and continental issues.
He has also stressed that the Democratic Republic of Congo must be supported as it continues to face instability in the east. Khayelihle Khumalo has more.
