Rehabilitating drug users cost Gauteng thousands
The Gauteng Department of Social Development says it spends over R30.000 to rehabilitate a single substance abuse user – and has rehabilitated more than 10.000 users across various centers in Gauteng in the past few months.
They reconnected with them to monitor their progress in Soweto on Friday.
