Bold Types | As federal funding cuts mount up, The Boston Foundation steps in


With $1.7 billion in assets, The Boston Foundation is a multifaceted organization, Lee Pelton told the Globe in a recent Bold Types interview with reporter Janelle Nanos, and it’s using all its tools to “meet the moment.” In the last several months, the Foundation has distributed over $2.6 million in safety net grants to over 500 local organizations facing economic uncertainty due to federal funding cuts.
