A funeral platform in Hong Kong is educating people about the significance and rituals associated with the Hungry Ghost Festival. The platform, RIPHK, also advocates for life and mortality education and preserving traditional culture. “Ghost month” is observed by Buddhists and Taoists during the seventh month of the lunar calendar, with the festival falling on the 15th day. Various rituals are performed throughout the month to honour the dead and show compassion to wandering spirits.
