Poland downs Russian drones aimed at Ukraine
Poland reported that several Russian drones violated its airspace during an attack on Ukraine early Wednesday, marking the first such incident since Moscow’s full-scale invasion. The drones were shot down with assistance from NATO allies. European leaders condemned the breach as another sign of Kremlin escalation, which comes as President Donald Trump’s attempt to launch peace talks has been rejected by Moscow.
