Ukraine’s covert underground operation revealed | Military Mind
New footage reveals details of Ukraine’s underground operation “Veles,” in which Ukrainian fighters took advantage of a disused gas pipeline north of Kupiansk, in the Kharkiv region, to reach Russian positions from the flanks and rear without being detected. To navigate the narrow pipeline, the soldiers relied on homemade equipment, including an electric winch and specially designed wheelbarrows used to transport ammunition, combat gear and heavy equipment. Some sections were so tight that the fighters had to crawl on their stomachs. Watch the latest episode of Military Mind with Jonasz Rewiński to learn more.
