“Many of the brands wanted to buy, but I told Charles — you should buy back,” said DIAFA Group CEO Ravi Thakran at The BTLuxe Edit – Future:Legacy symposium presented by Schroders Wealth Management on Oct 28. In 2011, L Catterton Asia, then led by Thakran, bought a 20% stake in local fashion brand Charles & Keith, which the brand bought back in 2016.
