Mbappe apology falls short for angry Chinese football fans
French footballer Kylian Mbappe’s apology has failed to quell anger among Chinese fans after he called the late Chinese leader Mao Zedong a dictator.
Fans interviewed by Reuters on Oct 28 said the apology could not erase the hurt caused by what they viewed as an affront to their national beliefs.
