Nurturing potential of differently abled
People with disabilities continue to face barriers to economic participation and opportunities to prove their capabilities.
In QwaQwa, in the Free State, an organisation called Nurturing Seeds for Differently Abled Community Development, is working to overcome these challenges by equipping participants with practical skills and supporting their efforts towards greater independence.
Through agricultural projects, creative crafts and small businesses, participants are demonstrating that a disability does not define a person’s potential.
