Tiffany Meek back in court
A letter addressed “To Mum” and signed off “From Jayden” became a point of focus in the trial of Tiffany Meek, accused of murdering her 11-year-old son, Jayden Lee Meek.
Warrant Officer Sizwe Mayisela, who was tasked with photographing Jayden on the day of the incident, told the court that he came across the letter on a dressing table and opened it to see what was written inside.
He said he thought it could be a suicide letter. Jayden-Lee’s body was found at their residential complex in May 2025, a day after he was reported missing.
Meek faces charges of murder, defeating the ends of justice, crimen injuria and attempting to defeat the ends of justice
