Jack Smith Hearing: Jan 6 Hero Michael Fanone Confronts Rep. Nehls After Fighting Rep. Raiklin
Former Metropolitan Police officer Michael Fanone was briefly escorted from a House Judiciary Committee hearing on former special counsel Jack Smith after a heated confrontation with Ivan Raiklin, a former Army reservist and right-wing activist. The exchange began during a recess when Raiklin called out to Fanone in the crowded hearing room, prompting an angry response that included profanities. The verbal clash escalated to the brink of a physical altercation before security intervened, drawing attention away from the hearing and underscoring the intense tensions surrounding the proceedings.
