Vape numbers surging through post and at corner shops in regional WA | ABC NEWS

A corner shop marketing itself as a “candy store” in a regional WA city is allegedly selling vapes from under the counter, according to locals, raising concerns about whether the state’s anti-vape laws are being properly enforced outside metro areas.

The lolly shop in Albany, south of Perth, sits on a busy road near local schools, and is decorated for Halloween, with colourful lighting displays.

Parents and business owners say nothing is being done, despite reporting the illegal vape sales to state and federal authorities.
