#Pope Leo leaves #hospital days after #cancer surgery
Pope Leo XIV has returned to the Vatican just four days after undergoing lung cancer surgery at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.
The 71-year-old walked out of the hospital unaided on Saturday after doctors cleared him to leave following the successful removal of the lower lobe of his right lung.
He’s due back in St. Peter’s Square at midday on Sunday, to lead the crowd in prayer
