New flooding and avalanche kill dozens in Nepal

More than 20 people have been killed in Nepal after days of heavy rain triggered a new wave of landslides in the disaster-hit country. Rescue teams on Monday searched for a dozen people swept away by an avalanche that killed at least four on Mount Himlung amid the severe weather. The landslides and avalanche were the latest natural disasters to hit Nepal in recent weeks. The Himalayan nation is trying to recover and rebuild after a devastating glacial collapse triggered flash flooding on August 26, killing more than 1,400 people and leaving over 6,000 missing.
