Boston band Lazarus brought a moving concert to the Red Line, playing from Alewife to Quincy.
Boston-based Lazarus treated riders to a moving concert over the weekend, taking the stage in a southbound Red Line car.
Frontman André Lazarus said the concert spanned Alewife to Quincy Station, “And then we had to go back with all the equipment.”
He said the band is used to spending hours busking on the sidewalk, so filling the ride — and stretching the set when the train slowed down — came easily.
“We just call out a song, and we just go,” Lazarus said. “We’re just getting started with T stuff.”
