Hegseth appoints Elon Musk to war department taskforce

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a 20% cut to general and admiral positions, set to take effect by Jan. 1. During a speech at Quantico, he also reiterated his push for gender-neutral fitness standards and an end to DEI efforts in the military. Hegseth also announced that Elon Musk will co-lead a new DOW department effort that would study the future of warfare. Mark Chandler with Coastal Carolina University weighs in.
