Thailand’s schools step up ‘run-hide-fight’ shooter drills after deadly attack
Thailand’s schools on Aug 19 stepped up active shooter drills in the two weeks since a shooting killed at least eight, as authorities push to strengthen safety measures.
The “run-hide-fight” drill began with a briefing for students at a secondary school in Bangkok, followed by a simulated mass shooting inside the building, with an officer dressed in black and armed with an assault rifle and handgun playing the role of the gunman.
