Australian swimmers tour LA 2028 Olympic venue | 7NEWS
Australia’s swim team, the Dolphins, toured SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the venue for swimming events at the 2028 Olympics. The visit follows a successful Pan Pacific Championships where Sam Short broke Ian Thorpe’s 400-metre record and Lani Pallister defeated Katie Ledecky in the 800 metres. The stadium will be transformed into the largest Olympic swimming venue in history, with a pool constructed in the centre of the field and capacity for 38,000 spectators.
