A black bear startled a family vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on Saturday, August 8, as it attempted to open doors to their cabin rental.
Footage shot by Jonathan Abraham shows the bear walking along a deck and standing on its hind legs as it tried to turn the handles on two different doors, while the family watched through the windows.
“Good thing we made sure to lock the doors,” said Abraham, who told Storyful it was a “pretty scary moment,” adding that the bear also tried to break into their vehicle parked outside.
