Evaton Central families suffer eight-year power crisis


Several families in Evaton Central in the Vaal have been living without electricity for about eight years after their electric transformer caught fire.

The residents say they have since had to rely on expensive sources of power for daily household use.

Eskom says vandalism of electrical cables led to delays in restoring power to some affected residents.
