‘They’re people of privilege’: Democratic socialists continue complaining about identity

Executive Director of the Coalition for Affordability and Prosperity Chuck Flint reacts to Democratic socialists complaining about their identity and labels them “people of privilege”.

“It’s part of a divide and conquer kind of strategy,” Mr Flint told News24 host Rowan Dean.

“The Democratic socialists are all trying to convince you that it’s a rigged system: AOC, Mamdani, Hong, El-Sayed. They’re having a hard time doing it because they are actually people of privilege.

“If the system is rigged, how have they been able to achieve so much success? They’re all college educated … the rhetoric does not match the reality.”
