Fresh testimony in the Charlie Kirk murder case addressed one of the biggest claims raised by Tyler Robinson’s defense. ATF firearms examiner Samantha Karner told the court that bullet fragments recovered from Charlie Kirk’s body produced an inconclusive result, meaning investigators could neither confirm nor exclude the suspected murder weapon based on the fragments alone. Karner stressed that “inconclusive” does not mean the rifle was ruled out, explaining that the condition of the fragments prevented a definitive match. Prosecutors allege Robinson used his grandfather’s rifle to fatally shoot Kirk during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in September 2025.
