Lindsey Graham’s sister on South Carolina Senate primary election: ‘Confident that I will win’
South Carolina Republicans will decide Tuesday, Aug. 11, who should take the late Sen. Lindsey Graham’s place on the Nov. 3 ballot.
The late senator’s sister, Sen. Darline Graham, of Lexington, is serving the last few months of Graham’s term. She is running for the nomination against 11 other people and has an endorsement from President Donald Trump.
“We’ll see. Yeah, we don’t know who it’ll be, but either way I’m feeling positive. I expect to be in a runoff in two weeks,” Graham said on Tuesday. “I feel confident that I will win.”
