SCOPA report flags RAF security spending


A draft report into the Road Accident Fund inquiry has revealed that over R3 million was used for the former CEO, Collins Letsoalo’s security details, way above than the R480 000 approved by the board.

This was revealed during the Standing Committee on Public Accounts’ deliberations on its draft report.

The committee is investigating allegations of maladministration, financial irregularities and governance failures at the state entity.
