KZN man killed by municipal water tanker
A family from Umbumbulu is struggling to come to terms with the tragic death of their loved one after he was struck and killed by an eThekwini municipal water tanker.
It’s believed that 38-year-old Celani Zungu – was amongst a group of community members – who had rushed to the scene of an altercation between residents and the driver of the tanker.
The argument was apparently over water shortages as the area had been without water for more than a week.
The graphic video of the incident circulating on social media has angered the community.
The family says it wants answers and justice for Zungu.
