#Trump opts for talks over #strikes with #Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump says a new round of talks with Iran will begin on Monday after deciding against launching new strikes. Tehran, however, denies holding direct negotiations with Washington, saying it is instead in talks with Oman to establish a temporary safe route through the Strait of Hormuz, as tensions continue to threaten global energy supplies.
