Matlala, co-accused attempted murder trial continues – 03 August 2026
Alleged underworld kingpin Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala and four others are back in the High Court in Johannesburg for continuation of trial.
They stand accused of attempting and conspiring to kill socialite Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni and music producer Seunkie Mokubung.
The main trial has taken a pause after alleged gunman Musa Kekana objected to the state using some of the evidence police obtained during his 2024 arrest.
