Albanese’s silence over Gina Rinehart row branded political ‘suicide’
Former NSW police minister David Elliot says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s refusal to condemn the ABC’s Gina Rinehart segment is exposing him to growing criticism and accusations of hypocrisy.
“The prime minister is just exposing himself to more and more criticism,” Mr Elliot told News24 host Jaimee Rogers.
“He’s writing his suicide note when it comes to gender politics.
“I like it because it means that he will be seen as a hypocrite and he’ll remove himself from the discussion.”
