US launch retaliatory strikes on Iran | At least 9 people killed in Ukrainian drone strike in Russia
The US has launched another night of air strikes on Iran after two US service members were killed in Jordan, raising the possibility of returning to all-out war. Any path back to negotiations after the interim ceasefire fell apart last week becoming increasingly distant.
At least 9 people have been killed and more than 30 injured after a wave of Ukraine drone attacks hit Russian oil depots and businesses. The strikes come as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy faces increasing public protests over his decision to dismiss his defence minister and appoint a new prime minister.
