Ukraine saw another day of protests Friday over President Zelenskyy’s dismissal of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. The move has drawn international concern and raised fears of democratic backsliding, as Fedorov is widely seen as an anti-corruption reformer.
– NEW STEP TOWARD DIALOGUE
Polish and Ukrainian relations, strained in recent months over historical grievances, may be starting to improve. Both sides exchanged posts on X signaling they want to resolve the dispute over the naming of a Ukrainian army unit after the Heroes of the UPA, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.
– TUSK WELCOMES ZELENSKYY’S PROPOSAL
In his recent statement, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s five point plan to resolve the recent diplomatic dispute between the two countries.
