‘Get it all out’: Argentina banner fiasco a reminder ‘politics should be out of sport’
Sky News contributor Adrian Hayes says the Argentinian football team’s Falklands banner is a reminder “politics should be out of sport”.
“It was stupid of the players to hold this banner up, and I think very disrespectful to those who lost their lives in the Falklands conflict,” Mr Hayes told Sky News host Jaimee Rogers.
“Politics should be out of sport.
“FIFA needs to come down on this quite hard.
“Taking the knee, which England were doing for many years, LGBT flags, Palestinian flags, get it all out of sport.”
