Public have woken up to Labor’s ‘un-Australian assault on aspiration’: Tony Abbott

Former prime minister Tony Abbott says the public has woken up to this “terrible” Labor government, with its “un-Australian assault on aspiration”.

Mr Abbott told Sky News Australia he hopes his presence will “remind people that there have been governments that have cut immigration, there have been governments that have not been interested in net zero, there have been governments that scrap taxes, and they are always Liberal-National governments”.

“If you are serious about all of these things which are necessary to improve our country, the Liberal-National party has a record that no one else does.”
