Community takes part in Re-Tree George Initiative

When storms and gale force winds recently swept through the Garden Route in the Western Cape, thousands of trees were uprooted. Now, the community of George is fighting back with the Re-Tree George Initiative. It is encouraging residents, schools, businesses and organisations to sponsor indigenous trees, supplied by the Garden Route Botanical Garden, that will be planted throughout the community.
