Cold soup, pink everything, and thousands of tourists in Vilnius
Vilnius turns pink for a weekend every year, and it’s all because of cold beet soup.
Lithuania’s Pink Soup Festival celebrates the country’s iconic summer dish, a cold borscht made with kefir, beetroot and dill.
The event draws visitors from around the world with themed activities, a costume competition and pink everything, from coffee to dog accessories.
