Iran’s economy will ‘dramatically improve’ if Trump lifts blockade on Strait of Hormuz

Former senior CIA official Norman Roule says Iran’s economy will improve dramatically if US President Donald Trump lifts the blockade on the Strait of Hormuz.

“For the United States, by lifting the blockade, it’s going to sustain a regime, and at the same time remove its leverage for nuclear talks,” Mr Roule told Sky News Australia.

“If he lifts the blockade, Iran’s economy will improve dramatically.”
