Ebola outbreak: Kenya court suspends US plan for quarantine unit for Americans
A court in Kenya on Friday suspended a U.S. plan to establish a quarantine unit for Americans exposed to the Ebola virus. The decision comes after backlash from medical workers and activists as Ebola spreads throughout the region.
This week, U.S. administration officials said the U.S. was planning to send Americans who are exposed to the virus while aboard to a new facility in Kenya rather than flying them home.
