Ad Hoc Committee on Mkhwanazi’s allegations finds lapses in law enforcement
Advocate Norman Arendse shared his team’s draft report with MPs on Thursday evening, outlining all the evidence put before the committee since October.
Arendse told MPs that while President Cyril Ramaphosa made the correct decision to place police Minister Senzo Mchunu on special leave for his decision to dissolve the Political Killings Task Team in 2024, proper oversight in the sector is lacking.
