Little Karoo suffers huge impact of floods
A small farming community near Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo, which has been cut off since flooding earlier this month, says their livelihoods are now at stake.
The May 6th storm triggered rockfalls on the R328, resulting in the road closure and completely isolating the residents of Matjiesriver.
This is also the main road to the world-famous Cango Caves and other tourist attractions.
