Hopes of all-Malaysian final dashed as Arif-Roy King lose to Danish pair
Men’s doubles pair Wan Arif Wan Junaidi-Yap Roy King lost to Denmark’s Daniel Lundgaard-Mads Vestergaard in the Malaysia Masters semi-finals on Saturday (May 23) night.
Arif-Roy King went into the match at the Unifi Arena in Bukit Jalil with a 4-0 winning record over the Danish pair. However, they struggled to find their rhythm and fell 19-21, 17-21 in 48 minutes.
