Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko declared Belarus will not enter the Ukraine war unless attacked, but vowed joint defence with Russia if aggression strikes. The remarks came during major Russia-Belarus nuclear exercises observed with Vladimir Putin. The drills reportedly included nuclear coordination planning and ballistic and cruise missile launch practice. In a surprise twist, Lukashenko also offered direct talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
