Woman dies after collision with police car in Cairns | 7NEWS

A 71-year-old woman has died after being struck by a police vehicle at the intersection of Lily and Sheridan streets in Cairns, far north Queensland. Three officers were in the vehicle at the time of the collision, and despite receiving first aid at the scene, the woman died shortly after being transported to hospital. A police inquiry is now underway to determine the cause of the incident.
