Westpac launches new loan reviews after Labor’s budget hit on negative gearing

Sky News host Peta Credlin says Westpac told mortgage brokers that it will not honour any pre-approved investor loans following the budget hit on negative gearing.

Ms Credlin said Westpac has emailed its broker network, telling them to “set expectations early”.

“Now that is telling.”
